Backyard fun!

Here are some pics of another fun adventure in Utah. My friend Brandy came down from Fountain Green with her two kids Dakota and Shelby. Trisha brought Hailey and Caden over to play too. We had a ton of fun playing in the back yard. We set up a couple of kiddie pools and the slip-n-slide. I dared Brandy to take a turn on the slip-n-slide and before we knew it we were both soaking wet and having tons of fun. My body sure hurt for a few days after but it was totally worth it. I love hanging out with Brandy and really wish we lived MUCH closer. I guess online shopping together and long phone calls will have to do!

Emma likes to makes "beds" wherever she is. She mostly just played by herself this day. Funny girl!


The boys decided to go inside and get dressed and watch tv. When we came in they were both in the same chair! This was the first time they hung out. Super funny! :)

On tuesday the 20th I took the kids and headed North. We stopped in Ogden and had lunch at Cafe Rio with Aunt Janelle. Oh how I love Cafe Rio...and Janelle! After lunch we headed to Brigham City and went to see my friend Jewel from the flower shop. Her daughter Crystal's little girl Reagan is a year younger than Emma and they are the best of friends. When I worked at the flower shop Jewel watched Emma on her days off for me. She also watched Reagan on her days off. They were soooooo excited to see each other! Reagan has a brand new baby sister and they were both excited to show off their new siblings. We stayed for a couple hours and it was a real chore to get Emma to leave.

That night we headed to Corinne and had dinner at Russ and Janelle's house. Grandpa Butch and Grandma Marjie came too. Emma has been talking about Dalton non stop. She was so excited that we got to go to his house to play. The boys made this trailer. I am not sure what its purpose is but it is still pretty impressive. They wanted Emma to go for a ride on it and I said no because I am paranoid like that. Aunt Janelle said she would put her on her lap and go for a slow ride. She loved it!




After visiting for a while we went to visit my friend Chrissy that also lives in Corinne. She has a little boy Emma's age named Braxton. They are so funny together. He always likes to take her by the hand to show her things. Chrissy said he was so excited that Emma was coming to play. He had an orange popsicle that he was saving to share with her. Bad news is he left it on the counter while he waited so they had to pick a different one. :)



We stayed there pretty late and didn't make it back to Pleasant Grove until 1:00 am. We had swimming lessons the next morning so we couldn't stay the night up there. We are grateful for good friends and family and have sure missed them since we moved.

Dinosaur Museum

For "family night" I took Emma to the dinosaur museum with the Workmans. It is the one at Thanksgiving Point. We had a lot of fun! Uncle Layne and Megan have been wanting to go for a long time....I am happy that I could make all their dreams come true! :)

This is the build a dino. All the pieces have velcro so you can switch them around. They even had lots of heads to change. Emma about had a melt down when someone else came up and tried to play too. We need to work on that. :)

The first week we were in Utah Ashley invited us to go swimming at her friend Leslie's pool. It was so fun! This was Levi's first time swimming and he really enjoyed himself! Megan had bought a donkey floaty thing for Talan but he didn't like it....so we put Levi in it! He was so funny he just kept trying to eat the tail. Somehow we didn't get a picture of that though. Family Fun

We did a lot of fun things while we were in Utah but some of the best times were when we just hung out as a family.







My Grandma and Grandpa Workman came over for dinner a few times and we were able to go visit them as well. Levi was being pretty fussy while we were at their house one night so my Grandpa took him and walked around. He said it was much easier to do that when he was in his 20's and his kids didn't weigh as much a Levi. haha

When my mom first came to visit us in North Dakota and when we got to her house she thought that Levi didn't like her. I tried to tell her that he was like that to everyone because he was teething. By the end of the trip she knew that he liked her. I went to have lunch with her at work one day and handed Levi to her when I got there. She just smiled at him and said hi and he was laughing hysterically. It was sooooo funny. He did it again that same day when she got home from work. My kids are lucky to have such a great Grandma and I am lucky to have her as my mom.
